George Welch (b.1998) Is a Liverpool based artist. His paintings look to our history, as well as our reality. Combining intuitive oeuvres, nuanced through his use of colour. Fundamentally pictorial, his works look to the medium of painting to distil and challenge ideas, more often than not they are themes, stories or fictions, nevertheless familiar.

This work is featured as part of the Convenience Store at the Manchester Contemporary in 2023.
